Born in Hong Kong and raised in Belgium, Magali, a Cult is a Sci-Fi pop artist currently based in New York City. She brings together an amalgamation of genres and themes together in her music, writing and 3D artwork. Magali creates a focus on the exploration of the human spirit through new technologies. Musically, she integrates 90's electronic dance rhythms with traditional pop melodies. Having performed extensively throughout NYC and Europe, Magali has cultivated a distinct stage presence including projection art and seated choreography. She currently is at Columbia University pursuing a Master's in Visual Art, focusing on her 3D and VR/AR artwork.
